Hi all,
I reinstalled Windows 11 (I had some problems with the newly purchased graphics card).
Now everything works fine, except that the Fabfilter plugins display something weird instead of the preset browser after clicking on the (Cubase) presets window in the top bar of the plugin.
I copied the content backup from \Users\username\Documents\VST3 Presets
to the new system, and also rescanned disk in Mediabay.
All the plugins I’ve already checked display the custom preset browser correctly, but the Fabfilter plugins don’t.
I’ve already reinstalled Pro-Q 3, but that didn’t change anything.
Thanks Fese,
no I use and install VST3 only if it’s possible.
Only to check, I reinstalled just Pro-Q3 in both VST2 and VST3 versions (which didn’t change anything), but anyway most other VST3 plugins show the correct list of custom VST3 presets.
BTW, my few VST2 plugins (such as Lexicons) also show the preset browser correctly when I click this box in the top bar.
FF’s also show presets correctly when you click the arrow next to the box and select “Load Preset”, but this is less convenient and wasn’t needed before.
I’m facing the same problem however I didn’t reinstall Windows - I just installed the latest FabFilter update. Very weird. I already sent them a mail and they don’t know anything about this issue.
