Is there any easy and simple way to insert a plug in on a (specific #1/#2/…) slot for a selected track without spending ages and money into useless controler or third party system mapping software editors ?
Basically, i mean, for exemple i have an audio track selected and then Boom i hit a key on my computer Keyboard ----> It does the same thing as if I had clicked on the desired insert slot.
Also, I would like to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to select a specific plug-in from the drop-down list.
For example, if I press ‘X’, it inserts FabFilter Pro-Q3 into insert slot #1.
It´s not possible right now.
What works really great is the app Insert Flow:
It´s only 15.- US dollars
You can, for example:
Insert a plugin with a key command to the next empty slot:
Inset a specific Plugin to a specific slot via a quick insert menu:
Sure! but you still need some kind of outside additional app/script whatever triggering this function, that´s why I linked to Insert Flow which I find the easiest to use.
In Studio One for example it´s integrated into the app and is much easier accessible.
Well English is not my first language, so maybe I´m not understanding, but even in the html-video you are linking to, I would have to run the browser in parallel to cubase to access the functionality, no (I actually tried this when you first posted)? I did not say you have to install an additional app, but to control Cubase via MIDI remote via a script you somehow have to send the control messages from outside cubase to cubase via a script. At least that´s how it’s working here when using metagrid, better-touch-tool, kebyoardmeastro or insert flow. It´s always a second app/browser whatever you wanna call it in the background needed, no?
