I’m thinking about picking up the PreSonus Faderport and was hoping someone who owns one can answer this.
Is the “output” button dedicated to the master channel (stereo out)? I basically just want to use it as a dedicated master fader and transport controller.
If there is a work-around through Cubase that would be great too.

“The Output button access to your main output bus fader (Cubase/Nuendo only).”
“The FaderPort will also follow the channel selection
within the DAW via keyboard or mouse.”
Now for my needs, is there a way to disable channel selection via mouse and have just control of the master at all times?
