Failed order with FastSpring

Hi there,

I bought the Immerse™ mit VST AmbiDecoder which is on sale now.
But the order stucks.

"Order fulfillment delayed
Your order has been accepted but, unfortunately, due to technical difficulties could not be completed at this time.
We have been notified of this issue and are working to fulfil your order as soon as possible. Please do not reattempt your order. You will not been charged until the order is completed."

My question now is, because I wanted to start with it at the weekend, if it is safe to use it meanwhile with a demo license? Or will it make things more worse?

As of now I just waited for an update.

Still nothing. I have asked about it now. The problem is that if you don’t get any feedback at all, you don’t know if anyone is looking into it. But it’s no better with others, unfortunately.

I got following message after buying:

Other then stated in the mail they already booked the money :wink:

Slowly I get angry about this! I ordered 5 days ago - money is gone. No reaction from Steinberg / Fastspring since days! Can somebody from Steinberg please look into this!

I don’t understand that either. Unfortunately, as I said, it’s no better for others. This playing dead is typical. Just radio silence. You have to be very massive to get things moving. But even if someone does get in touch, it doesn’t mean that things will continue. I’ve just been to BFD. 100% paid in, but not 100% delivered yet. Someone has contacted me in the meantime and it should be fixed. But it’s been stuck in the shaft ever since. Things never move on their own.

Yeah, For luck I payed with paypal - so I can’t just open a case and say I have not received any content. But honnestly, I bought the license because I want to use the software - not to fight to get a license or fight to get my money back.

But it really frustrating that since 5 days nobody looks to be responsible to care about this case…

Still no reply to the ticket I opened via the web form. So I asked directly by email and have already received a reply. The purchase was confirmed and the activation code was sent to me.
However, the status under “Your Orders” is still open and under “Products” in MySteinberg, nothing is listed yet. I have pointed this out and am waiting for a response.

@dspreadbury can you help us here? I saw you beeing involed in the new shop topic a lot?

Hello, I was wondering if you could me with an order issue. I ordered Cubase Elements 13, Apr. 1,2024 during the 30% sale and what I received was a code for Cubase 12. I responded to the email that included my receipt to notify Steinberg of my issue. Is there anyway to rectify my dilemma. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and good day.
