Feature Request: Audio Statistics to include gain change

Right now if we get statistics on an event they’re all based on the file on disk. If I measure a file and it reads -26LUFS and then increase the gain of the event by 2dB then measuring again still gives me -26LUFS.

If I bounce the event so that a new file is created the reading is now -24LUFS.

It seems to me that the intuitive action should be to measure what is selected, including that parameter. One reason to include the gain change is that the measurement is currently going to be misleading if there is gain change and we aren’t realizing it.

I can understand that processing of statistics will now potentially take longer if that gain change is complicated, but I think the final statistics will better correspond to what we’re seeing and hearing and is therefore of more value.
