Cubase should offer automatic key and BPM detection for audio files, either directly within the Info Bar as part of the import process (similar to apps like [untitled]) or through a dedicated plugin (like Logic Pro’s “BPM Finder”). This would speed up production workflows significantly.

Antares offers an Auto Key plugin that determines both. However such a built-in feature would be cool as well as a time signature analyzer.

For me this is the one major pet-down in Cubase. The ability to properly identify BPM of audio files other than straightforward 4 or 8 bar loops is sadly lacking. Vocal stems in particular. A key finder would be a huge bonus too.
