Feature Request: automatically detect curse words in vocal layer?

Now I don’t know if this is possible, but it would be world changing. Since I work in rap music, we’d have to incorporate not only the Carlin 7 dirty words, but a few more, like the N-bomb.

Have you checked out the transcription feature?

Yep. But would be nice to have an automated process…unless I’m missing that.

You could do the following in the meantime:

  • use the transcription feature to locate where the offending word is (or listen and take note of the location)
  • Then use the select similar selection tool to select all words that have a similar spectral output.
