It is a topic discussed on the Cubase forum, but I don’t see it here. And especially for the simplified and mobile version, it is Cubasis users that could benefit the most.
It’s not about the live performance, but about the sketching and creative part of the composition. Instead of going back and forth wi the looping selection, just recording into clips and easily selecting the active parts it would jus boost productivity.
I’m aware that it’s easier said than done , but this feature it’s becoming an available option across many DAWs.
I know it will probably never happen but it would be great, this would kill the Seqtrak lol
Back to the subject, I even tried to create my own sequencer on Android but I never managed to get Cubasis to recognize my virtual MIDI ports, I tried another app and I couldn’t either, so I think there must be some kind of lock in Cubasis.
If someone from the Cubasis team can explain to me if it’s possible to communicate via MIDI with Cubasis on Android, that would be great
