Feature Request: Convert Instr. Track to MIDI Track + VST

Hello!

I guess, the title gives already a hint.
Actually I would like to see two features

  1. CONVERT MIDI TRACK TO INSTRUMENT TRACK
    Reason: I preferably work with MIDI tracks, because of more flexibility when switching from a VSTi to Rewire (no Rewire with Instrument Track). But I certainly love the SAVE AS MIDILOOP feature (which is not possible with MIDI tracks), and it is quite a pain, when you try to save something as MIDI loop and you can"t because of using a MIDI track.

  2. CONVERT INSTRUMENT TRACK TO MIDI TRACK
    Same reasons as above, besides I would like to go back from an Instrument track to a MIDI track without hasle.

It would be wonderful if Cubase could do the rerouting in the background for me

Or just find a way to finally combine the 2 track types.
