In order to avoid loops when we want to sidechain a compressor, let’s say we want to reduce the delay of a FX track, while the singer is singing, we have to duplicate the vocal track and to switch off the sends…and to select no bus and activate a send to the side chained effect…a lot of work and a busier project windows
Couldn’t you add alongside the “side chain send” pre or post fader, an option for a “dry side-chain send” that would avoid all this duplicating…and unwanted loops?
I am not so sure this makes sense, 
but what do you think?
