Hello,
I would like to request a small but very useful improvement to the Edit Line Bodies window.
Currently, it is possible to add symbols to the start, middle, or end of a line body pattern, but it is not easy to move a symbol that has already been inserted to a different position within the sequence. In practice, this means that if I want to change the order, I often need to delete the symbol and insert it again.
It would be very helpful if Dorico allowed users to reposition the currently selected symbol within the existing sequence — for example by drag-and-drop, or with simple left/right move buttons.
It would also help if clicking a symbol in the current selected sequence would automatically highlight the corresponding symbol in the full symbol list below. Some symbols are very similar in appearance, so it can be difficult to tell exactly which one has been selected. Linked selection between the sequence and the full symbol list would make identification much clearer and editing much easier.
This would make editing custom repeatable symbols much faster and more intuitive, especially for more detailed line bodies.
Thank you very much for considering this.
