Couldn’t find if this has been requested already–apologies if I missed it. A rather unimportant feature request is to have an option to close the comment dialogue with the return key. Perhaps a carriage return within the dialogue can be option return–or visa versa. I always forget that I have to press OK to close and end up with a carriage return instead–which is all on me I know.
I don’t use the comment window itself but I would say +1 for various windows, Dorico doesn’t always correspond with return to “OK” or “Close”. This comes up often with the endpoint configuration window and also many of the menu option windows.
Interestingly, some windows do work with ‘return’ to close/OK - such as the percussion map, expression map, playing & playback technique windows. I vote to make them consistent - I hate mice!
I can close the comment window with ⌘-Return. Likewise with editing text items.
Where this doesn’t work is (1) Edit Instrument Names and (2) Edit Single Lyric. The former will close with ⌘-Return if I haven’t edited anything, which is pointless; once the cursor is in one of the fields, it doesn’t work any more. And it never works with the latter. The thing about this that really bothers me is that the OK button is lying. If I can’t hit it with Return, it should not have a default-ring around it! This was very inconsistent in Sibelius too, and probably still is.
