Feature Request: Group Folder Tracks

Can we get group folder tracks?
Please?
Basically a folder track that acts like a group track or a group track that acts like a folder.

There’s actually a native macro that does this & you can assign a shortcut to it:

Not the same thing. This creates a folder and a group track, not a folder that has a fader, effects, inserts, etc.
Ableton and Bitwig both have this feature and it’s really super useful.

Sounds messy. Ableton and Bitwig need this because they don’t have VCA faders.

I do like OPTIONS, however. So instead of messing with Cubase’s current Folder tracks, maybe add a new Routing Folder like in Pro Tools.

Yes, I use both and I’m aware. Just wanted to help in the meantime.

@jpgtr That would be fine with me. Don’t have to get rid of anything, just merge two things together as a new option. When you have a big project with lots of channels/layers, it cleans up a lot of clutter. I haven’t used Pro Tools in years so I don’t know what the Routing Folder does.

If you look on the cubase feature request voting list, this wish is right near the top, and has been for years. It’s a very useful feature, which is why many of the major DAWs have this.
