Hi. I think it would be a great option, if it’s not already there. i dont know. Maybe yes. in Cubase’s sampler there are those step envelopes you can edit as you want and also there are presets already made step-envelopes and shapes. i think it would be great if there was those options in Halion 7 and above. if it’s not already there. It is already there 
Check out the description of the toolbar. You can set the envelope to shaper mode, for looped, synced or unsynchronised playback.

Yes Halion 7 has shaper envelopes.
Also thanks to the new modulators introduced in Cubase pro 14 you can use shaper envelopes on almost anything.
