[Feature request] Isomorphic keyboard layout

Hi,

Cubasis is a great sounding and feature rich app.
Would it be too difficult to add an isomorphic alternative to the standard keyboard layout? In a full screen mode it will allow great playability especially for guitar players. (glissandos, vibrato, etc)

I don’t think it is zero votes, it’s probably because most of us already have a midi keyboard of some description and therefore don’t need to vote, I’m sure Steinburg are aware of your request though😉

I also have many midi controllers, but the best use of cubasis is in my view, when on the go, with a mobile phone or tablet only.
At home I use the windows DAWs with all the hardware goodies around.

Could it work out for you to add some kind of option via using a 3rd party AU MIDI effect plug-in?

Not sure what AU Midi is, probably it’s not for Android phone, where i use cubasis. I tried to use third party apps, but it didnt work.
The most elegant implementation would be straight in cubasis though😁
Being able to just push record and play/overdub withthe isomorphic keyboard, with slides, vibrato, etc. would be great.

I’d love to see a variety of keyboard layouts available - eg pad layout as with samplers/BM3, scale keyboard as in Gadget, etc This would really help those of us who are not proficient keyboard players. Also, could the piano role be set to be scale only.

I’m personally very interested in the GeoShred or MuseLead app formats. It’s the same on hardware as Linnstrument or all Launchpad, Push, etc.

I’m not sure if it’s the same for Cubasis on Android, but on iOS you can stretch the keyboard by dragging the dark border just above the keyboard, you can also select Pads as circled in red :+1:
