[Feature Request] Key Signature–Aware Note Naming for MIDI Spectrum Display

Feature Request: Key Signature–Aware Note Naming in SpectraLayers Pro 12 MIDI Spectrum

Description:
Currently, the MIDI logarithmic frequency scale in SpectraLayers shows notes using fixed enharmonic spelling (e.g., always “A♯” instead of “B♭”). While the software supports BPM and Time Signature configuration, there is no option to set a Key Signature.

Proposal:
Add an option to define the project key signature so that note names displayed in the spectral frequency view reflect the correct enharmonic spelling for the chosen key (e.g., show “B♭” in a flat key, “A♯” in a sharp key).

Benefits:

  • Makes spectrum/music analysis more intuitive for musicians and sound designers.
  • Reduces confusion when editing or referencing tonal material.
  • Brings note naming in line with standard musical practice.

Reasoning/Context:
This would be extremely helpful for users working with musical source material or integrating MIDI-based spectral editing, as harmonic analysis depends on correct note spelling within the musical context.

Thank you for considering this suggestion!
