Feature request: Logarithmic law for audio faders + fine adjustment + relative mode

I’ve just realized that VST Live doesn’t use a log law for audio faders. I’m a bit perplexed as why this is.

Anyway, I would request that this at least would be an option. The linear law that is used now, basically makse the bottom 50% of the fader travel superfluous.

I also very much miss fine adjustment by mouse - say, click+shift, as in e.g. Cubase.

Edit:
While I’m at the issue of faders, could we please have a “relative mode” for fader movement (like in e.g. Cubase). The default (and only) setting in VST Live is “jump mode”. I honestly find the “jump” behavior unsettling and somewhat dangerous. You’re only a single click away from toal disaster (e.g. going from -80 to +6 dB).

I’ll sign off with two smileys now

… it’s already on our feature list.

… oh, we’ll add that.

… yes, we’ll add it.

Thank you for the feedback,
