I’ve just realized that VST Live doesn’t use a log law for audio faders. I’m a bit perplexed as why this is.
Anyway, I would request that this at least would be an option. The linear law that is used now, basically makse the bottom 50% of the fader travel superfluous.
I also very much miss fine adjustment by mouse - say, click+shift, as in e.g. Cubase.
Edit:
While I’m at the issue of faders, could we please have a “relative mode” for fader movement (like in e.g. Cubase). The default (and only) setting in VST Live is “jump mode”. I honestly find the “jump” behavior unsettling and somewhat dangerous. You’re only a single click away from toal disaster (e.g. going from -80 to +6 dB).
Hi @Spork ! got this complain and FR. from other pro users (non forum users). Could you please check where it stuck since Juli 2024?
At least CMD (I think that’s the MacOS key for “slow fader” under Cubase too) for slow fader movements first, that is probably just a few lines, thereafter log law I guess
