Feature Request: Macro Action to Apply Track Preset to Selected Track

I’d like to request a new macro action or Project Logical Editor (PLE) command that allows users to apply a track preset to an existing selected track—without needing to delete and replace or manually use the preset browser.

In workflows that rely on macros and automation—like mine for horror scoring and sound design—this functionality would open the door to fully automating creative processes. For example, I use complex macros that render audio, duplicate it into several tracks, and then manually apply different track presets to each. This manual step breaks the macro chain and slows the creative flow.

Use Case Example:
• Render audio selection
• Duplicate track 5x
• Select each track
• Apply unique track preset (e.g., “Glitch FX 1,” “Glitch FX 2,” etc.)

Currently, I have to stop and manually apply the presets after the render/duplicate macro. With an “Apply Track Preset to Selected Track” macro step, this could be fully automated.

Suggested Implementation:
• A new macro command: “Apply Track Preset”
• Opens preset browser or auto-applies a user-specified preset
• Or: Expand the PLE with an action to apply a specific track preset to selected tracks

Thanks for your incredible work on Cubase, and I hope this idea gains traction
