when having a tab open of edited mp3 files, when selecting save all, the mp3 format dialog box appears for bitrate of mp3. Feature request: to have a box to say “Remember this save format setting” so that you are not having to save one by one.
WaveLab can, of course, save MP3 files, but are you aware that re-encoding lossy audio files is not advisable? Each time you save, you lose quality because the lossy encoding has to be performed again.
yes understood, these files im working on are low bitrate and not that important but need small edits, having the dialog popup each time to select the bitrate is annoying, i know solutions are to export but for storage space purposes i wanted to just edit these files and overwrite them.
