In the track inspector, when you open the channel section, a nice feature would be the ability to click on the channel strip and have it be selected in the mixer. Currently you have to click it in the mixer, or activate the setting “sync project and mixer selection” under editing>project & mixer.
This would be especially useful for midi tracks, because the sync project and mixer selection feature will always select the midi track, not the audio track. The only way to do it currently is to disable the sync feature, open the mixer, and select the audio channel manually.
