Feature Request - simple bit truncation/reduction plugin?

I think it would be helpful to have a bit reducer/truncator plugin. I want to experiment with truncating to different bit depths… I’ve done a search for some 3rd party plugins, and most of them have TONS of other features… I can’t seem to find just a simple bit reducer/truncator anywhere. I think it would be cool if one was included with Wavelab.

The only control I’d want on it is a selection for the number of bits to be output… Maybe a single 24-position knob or selector for 24,23,22,21,20,19,etc… - all the way down to 1 bit.

You can already do this with the plugin “Internal Dither”.
Simply choose the bit depth, then sett OFF the 2 other parameters.
