Feature Request: Tap-Time Input Mode

Hi there.
What I am really missing is a Tap-Time Input Mode.

In preferences I´d like to learn a Midi Event (eg Sustain CC64) or keystroke to allow me tapping or stomping in the resolution the Input Grid is just set on.

Then I’d like to play with both hands the Midi-Notes on the keyboard. All faster or slower notes can be derived algorithmically by the program. With this input method I personally achieved my fastest results in my formerly used notation software.
I really miss that feature.

Welcome to the forum, oldmacilli. You’re describing Finale’s HyperScribe feature, I think? We don’t have any immediate plans to add this, but I agree that it could be a useful addition to our suite of input methods, so we’ll certainly consider it for the future.
