I need to enter different chords in an ossia. When I try to do this, the chord symbols appear in the other staff.
Dorico is limited to two ossias, above and below. I wish that I could enter two above. I’m using both as I am working with a single staff. This wouldn’t work in a piano part.
Adding chord symbols specifically for an ossia is difficult, for the same reason that adding figured bass specifically for an ossia is difficult. Perhaps the approaches suggested in that earlier thread might also help you.
For instruments such as piano, if both staves are selected while right clicking a two-staff-oasis should be created.
