Features that I would like to see in the Standard and Multiband Compressor

Hello,

I don’t usually ask for development of plugins, I have many. But I’ve been using the compressors more and more and I’ve noticed a few things. I would therefore like to see further development of the following two tools:

  1. Standard compressor:
  • Add sidechain filters
  • Program-dependent attack and release times and/or a second, slower auto release.
  • Program-dependent setting of peak and RMS analysis
  • More precise adjustment of the knee
  1. Multiband compressor:
  • Ability to change parameters together at the same time
  • Add soft knee
  • Additional control for gain (setting via the graph is uncomfortable)
  • Program-dependent attack and release times and/or a second, slower auto release.
  • Peak/RMS analysis
  • Program-dependent setting of peak and RMS analysis

May I add?

  • A “range” setting that limits the amount of compression above threshold, measured in dB. An awesome feature. PT’s Pro Compressor or Acon Digital’s “Dynamics” plugin for reference.
