Hi everyone I am a newbie to Cubase, and DAI’s. I have started a new project with the preformatted option which automatically plugs in some VST’s like a guitar amp and some effects. Problem is that when I turn on the monitor function I get this feedback type noise straight away and I don’t know how to get rid of it. When I remove all of the VST plug in’s it stops and the guitar is clean with no feed back. Can someone advise how I fix this? Thanks in advance.

What is your Audio Device? Make sure, there is no audio loop - feedback. If there is something like Loopback function on your Audio Device, switch it Off.
