Fermatas and Caesuras not working

Hi all, I’m struggling to input caesuras and fermatas, perhaps due to some setting or method I’m missing. I want a fermata on the whole note in the first measure and then a caesura at the end of measure 1, as well as everything pictured here (fermata on the whole note in measure 2). However, when I try to implement these things, it simply doesn’t work. The fermata/caesura simply doesn’t appear, or if it does, one of the other fermatas and caesuras disappears. Is there a way to fix this, or some sort of workaround? I’d greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Fermatas and caesuras cannot be entered on the same beat, because they are conflicting.
So in that situation, use the caret to enter the caesura at the end of bar 1:

I’ve tripped over this myself recently. It seems to be a design flaw or at least a questionable decision. Having a caesura ahead of or after a fermata is incredibly common for notation. I wonder if it’s a case of playback issues influencing notation?
