I would like to achieve this:

Typing 6, 4->5, 3->2+, r=n in the pop-over gives

…and I haven’t been able to come up with anything that puts the 5 in the rightmost position, or adds the 3 after the 2+.

Is this possible? Otherwise I will tweak things in engrave mode instead.

I don’t think so: I would just do the 2+ as a suspension and manually move the 53 down.
