It would be great to have a preference to make the File Name and Event description tied by default, or even like PT where it asks you if you want to rename both or either one. Don’t like that if I rename an Audio File I have to copy paste to the Description line to avoid the duplicate name on the event.

You could also just click on the track name (as if renaming) and then press CMD-enter (mac) or ctrl-enter (win). That will rename all events according to track name. A preference wouldn’t be a bad idea though… Maybe also a preference, to chose if the original wav file in the pool will get renamed, copied and renamed aso…

For clarity, the steps you have to take to change the description property of all events on a track to the track name are as follows:
- Double click on the track name,
- And instead of pressing just the enter key (to commit the change, or just exit the edit state), press the enter key while holding down CMD on Mac or CTRL on Windows.
