Filter to lyrics not working

Hi I got to a possible issue with filters

  1. Click on bar with lyrics

  2. Edit/Filter/Lyrics/Line 1

Expected result: Lyrics are selected and I can copy it elsewhere

Actual result: Lyrics are unselected and notes in bar remain selected

I am on version:

Version 6.1.10.6078 (Oct 8 2025)

Dorico 6 AudioEngine Version 6.1.0.13

When you go into the filter menu, make sure you have it set to Select Only.

Let me add to Aarons suggestion:
Try Filter/Lyrics/All Lyrics
Sometimes, after music.xml import, Lyrics end up as Verse 2, even if there is only one line of lyrics. You can then, whilst still selected, change the Verse from 2 to 1 in the Property Panel at the bottom.

Hi @k_b that is not the issue here
I have written everything in this file

I did not know Filter can work here the other way around
