Just curious… Does Finale Songwriter 2010, fully paid up and registered, qualify me for the Finale Crossgrade pricing? I’m inclined to doubt it; Songwriter 2010 was Finale’s bottom of the line intro software; $49.95 as I recall…
I seem to be getting along with the iPad version quite well; it looks like it will do everything I need, so this question is really just idle curiosity. Thanks for any info.
From info at the Dorico and Finale sites, it looks like Songwriter doesn’t qualify. This page says you have to have a full version of Finale, or a license for PrintMusic on Windows.
If you sign into your MakeMusic Account, you will either see the offer available to purchase, or not.
If you have a retail or academic license for any version of the full Finale product, or if you have a license for Finale PrintMusic for Windows, you can crossgrade to Dorico Pro
