It was an old issue, isn’t it?
All long Cubase 7 life and perhaps before…
I think the use of Aero is for something with this good news.
So, finally, with options to make it static or not, transport cursor is no longer blinking on my system,
Windows 7 64 bits.
I am on Win 7 (Ultimate 64 bit) and the Transport cursor has been blinking, well, since Cubase 7. How do I stop this? Its seriously unnecessary! haha
Thanks
Jono
You have an option in the preferences for "stationary Cursor " . so the project moves instead of the cursor
Yes, the non-shivering transport cursor line in C8 is much more quiet to the eyes than in C7!
Thank you! I had no idea I could change that! Very useful!
I used this setting in the past for a while but became dizzy because of the constantly moving arrangement…

Ha - I thought this was just me. I had to turn this option off .
So be careful what you ask for …
Indeed. After using this feature for a couple of days I have now turned it off!
I’ll just have to deal with the cursor “Blinking”. Does this happen if you use a High Res screen? I am currently only using a 50 inch 1080p TV and not really up for upgrading the screen (yet) as I intend on changing to Mac and Retina Displays at some point next year.
