Finding and fixing problems

A musician who controls the program is, in a sense, blind. He doesn’t see anything beyond the current part of the program, and there may be surprises waiting for him.

I think that we need project management tools that allow us to view the status of all layers or stacks of the project in a single table, make selections based on critical parameters, mark the necessary objects, and perform group actions on them. For example, set a single volume, disable muting, or set a single instrument or output.

I would like to be able to see the signal path from the track or input to the output, and understand where it is interrupted or distorted. This is not as important in a DAW, where the musician has plenty of time to troubleshoot, but in real-time performance, time is of the essence, and assistance is needed.

I see the main difficulty in managing the program now is that a large number of objects are created that exist independently and are difficult to control, and in fact there are group interactions that can put the system in an unusable state with just one click, but there are no ways to quickly understand the situation and fix it and be sure that everything is back to normal after the fix.
