Fingering artificial harmonics?

I don’t seem to be able to enter fingerings for artificial harmonics? In the image, I typed t,3 into the popover, but only the thumb shows up. The best I can do is t3, which places the fingerings next to each other but that’s not really satisfactory. I’m guessing it’s because the diamond note “isn’t really there”?

Is there a way to do this?

If you enter each note in a different voice and set the notehead for the top note to diamond you can enter fingerings for each note and they will stack correctly.

Thank you. It’s even easier just to enter as an octave and change the top note to a diamond shape, but I was hoping for something that would still playback properly. I should have mentioned that :frowning: sorry.

Unfortunately, no, at the moment the fingering feature isn’t clever enough to know about the magic notes that Dorico creates for harmonics. I agree this would be useful.

Maybe you could add a stemless unison note in another voice with the same voice column and add the fingering to that?
