I am using Cubase 6 artist with Superior Drummer. When recording drum tracks, I often have problems with the first notes of a take not being recorded and the first hits of the second bar ending up at the end of the first bar. This causes a lot of problems when I try to build a track by copying and pasting the first bar of the take in the sequencer. I am using the click track and I’m a proficient drummer. This was not a problem when using Cubase VST, so is it something to do with the Snap feature or some latency settings for MIDI in version 6. I have snap to grid as my default snap setting.
