So, overall very cool. I don’t need 100 stream deck key commands, just a handful, and those work fine.
Downers: Install was a nightmare. I had to restart the Mac (M4) twice as things would hang so badly even Force Quit wouldn’t work. On first launch Cubase took FOREVER, then finally threw up an error about WAVES. I finally removed 3 Waveshells and then all started working great.
Everything I hoped it would do it pretty much does, but it is a drag that the pan knobs stop working if you are on a page you have created with your favorite keyboard shortcuts via Streamdeck. So you have to page back to the default then they become active. Strange.
But great to finally have a controller that follows all your channel selections with no 8 channel divisions, etc. The only pain is that it seems you have to physically click into areas that you have divided above the main track lists. Better if it just continued without having to stop and click onscreen. Glad I got it, small and sleek, well built it seems. We’l see what they do with the software over the months.
