First order ambisonics export adds silence at the beginning

Hello,

I have noticed that export get a tiny silence on the wav if exported with 1OA as an output. And I have to manually trim it.
Maybe anynoe knows why is this happening and how to avoid it?
There are no plugins inserted, just purely 2 stereo wav files to get 4 channels ambisonic file.

Cheers
Denis

Hmm Never experienced this. Is the silence length consistent when you export a different part of the same event?
And Are you using cycle markers to export the file, or a selection of the timeline? In both cases are they setup correctly (snapped to the event edge?).
And there is not perhaps some automation of mutes or levels?

Yeah strange for me as well. I use loop markers, selectinf the audio and clicking P, smae like I do with usual audio stuff, wehere it works perfectly fine. And the rest is all clean here, so either there is some bug in Nuendo 13 or some voodoo is going on here. Maybe Nuendo 14 will fix it:)

Thanks for checking in!

Best
Denis

Hmmm … I exported a set of Ambisonic tracks just last week and didn’t notice anything. Have to check though!

What kind of ‘tiny silence’ are we talking? ( ms? sec? Frame?)

Its a tiny silence in ms, attaching the image.

Updated to N14, still same situation adds silence to the file. Is this intentional? What is the reason for such behavious? Very unpractical for such a serious app.

Also submitted the ticked to the support, no asnwer. Is the support vene working?
