Doing a bit of downtempo funk lately, very much in a late 90s/early kind of vibe. This one is unmastered, but with some bus processing. Was a lot of fun to make. Think I need a few more flourishes and harmonies, but feeling OK overall. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!
I like this Funky Jazz, great groove with drums, bass and comping. I don’t hate the various interventions of the melodic instruments, but to do justice to this very good piece, a lead instrument like a sax or a jazzy trumpet or both with a clear theme and a good improvisations played by real musicians would enhance the whole piece. Really very cool!
