Fixing A Couple MusicXML Import Quirks

I have two challenges after bringing a MusicXML file in from Finale…

  1. My instrument names have boxes around them which I can’t seem to get rid of.

  2. The Rehearsal Markings category is missing from my Font Styles panel, so I can’t change it to Petaluma like the rest of the file.

Any tips?

For issue no. 1 -
Go into Library > Paragraph Styles… > Layout name, and uncheck Border.

For issue no. 2 -
Rehearsal Marks is probably in the same area.
