Fixing DMX Track: Stop and Restart Song to Enable Lights

In the DMX track:

  • Song Autostart Mode disabled:

    1. I press Spacebar and the lights do not turn on;
    2. I press Spacebar to stop the transport bar, press it again to restart, and the lights turn on.

  • Song Autostart Mode enabled:

    1. When the song starts, the lights do not turn on;
    2. I press Spacebar to stop the transport bar, press it again to restart, and the lights turn on.

Be honest experienced something like that but couldn’t be sure what is happening

That sounds similar to the MIDI issues we had a couple of releases ago - are you on the latest version?

Yes! VSTL 2.1.13

… I guess I need access to your project to see what’s going on. I’v tried a simple project and there it’s running. Or can you create a simple project, create an archive and give it us?

@Spork I understand what the issue is, and it’s the same reason as this other problem: Autostart Enabled: Song Doesn’t Start from the Beginning

Currently, it shows:
TC 00:00:00:00
Seconds 00:00:00:00
Bars + Beat 0001.1.1

if I input 0 in Bars + Beat, it becomes -001.1.1
Then I click on Start Marker and from 0001.1.1.000 it becomes -001.1.1.000 and this way, the lights turn on.
