I generally prefer in drum kit parts for all stems to be down, which is how I set up my kits. But when I have a roll on the snare drum, I like the stems to be up. For some reason when I take this
and hit “f”, it turns into this
And when I try to move stuff around in Engrave mode, it just gets weird and out of sorts.
Any idea why or what to do?
btw, it works when I beam the 16th rest separately from the dotted 8th that follows. So it’s something about the stemlets that seem to not be happy…
I’m unable to reproduce this in a new project where I’ve applied the settings I think would be necessary. Can you save a copy of your project, delete all the other instruments, and all music except for just this bar, then attach it here so I can take a look?
So strange. It’s working this morning. I don’t know what happened or what the difference between last night and now is. Sorry for the trouble.
