In WL 12 Pro-I can have numerous plug ins as part of my master section…I know I can float the whole master section…but how can I float individual plug in windows? eg: I want to have a plug in VU meter that I use that I want to look at whilst I’m adjusting an eq plug in which is also in the master section…at the moment I can only view one plug in at a time…probably a simple answer (I hope)…thanks
Hi!
Have a Look at “Control Window” found under menu “Workspace”

Thanks …I had a look at that…still not sure how to put a plug in into a control window…is there not a way just to drag and drop a master section plug in either so it floats? Or drag it into a control window/ ? I seem to recall I could drag a plug in from the master section and have it appear on the desktop as an individual window in Wavelab 8.5
here’s a snip of my current setup…hope it works
Not sure what you mean, but it was never possible to dock/undock a plugin window.
This being said, you can choose to have them in a tabbed window (as in your picture), or as individual floating windows, with this option OFF:
Sorry my bad I thought it was possible to dock plugins in Control Window…

Ok thanks PG… I’ll give a go tomorrow… just finishing my home made pizza and Portuguese red… ( in Melbourne)
Thank you…unchecking that ‘use plug in chain window’ has made all my plug ins floating…but it requires removing all the plug ins in the master section before being able to uncheck this box…so needed to make sure I saved that plug in chain as a preset so I could reinstall it afterwards
