Flow in a flow

Is it possiible to put flows inside a flow?

This sounds like a solution without a problem.

Could you tell what you want to achieve? What goal do you want to reach?

(Otherwise the answer will be be a short: No …)

Thanks for the quick response, working on a booklet with sections and was wondering if it could be done.

What (other than actual content) would change between sections that could not be effected with layout changes or heading changes?

Why could not every section be a flow in itself?

Printing booklets is possible.

Probably not at all what @centerhillbands intended to ask, but it gave me an idea about experimental layouts  . [An it would be sort of Music Frame Chain into Music Frame Chain, where the music flows independently]

(Not very usable at the moment since it requires much manual work, but for some crazy visualisations, with music wrapped into other music…, possibly using cutaways instead of hidden codas…?)
(Just an example)

Dorico file example:
Flow into Flow.dorico (1.6 MB)

[And yes: sorry for this  ]

A musical Droste effect !!

I can kinda see putting flows for songs in Act I, for example. But not sure what is gained by that.

What i am thinking is something like this. Project Name ( band music ) flows (12 keys )THEN have eexrcises in flows again below that. . As always there is a workkaround to get what i want but I really wanted to seee if this was possible. Thank you for all your ideass

Thanks Tom this helps

People have asked for some kind of grouping or hierarchy of flows in the past but as of today, that does not exist, all flows are on equal footing. But what you could do is use Flow Heading Overrides so that the ‘main’ pieces have a different header than the subordinate exercises, and appropriate an unused field in Project Info for any alternate numbering scheme if desired.
