Flow Percussion Instrumentation

Trying my hand at using multiple flows for the first time. Watched a couple of videos but no answer to my question there. In Flow 1 the Perc. 1 part is for Djembe and Bass Drum; Perc. 2 is for Conga Drums; Perc. 3 is for Tambourine and Shaker. In Flow two Perc. 1 is Sus. Cym. and Bass Drum; Perc. 2 is Triangle and Shaker; and Percussion 3 is Timpani. The third Flow will again switch instruments around. I can not figure out how to set all this up. I tried clicking on Flow 2 in the Flows Panel and changing the Xylophone from Flow 1 to Vibraphone for Flow 2 but it changed the Mallets in Flow 1 to Vibraphone. How do I get Dorico to treat each flow as a separate group if instruments? I get how to eliminate wind instruments from subsequent flows but the Percussion is a whole other story.

If there is a video I missed that would explain this process I would welcome a link so I can get this set up correctly.

Have a separate Perc 1 (etc.) for each flow, but combine them into a single layout.
