I think this is a known issue with the current release of Dorico – that light-colored flow title is supposed to display on screen, so that you know there’s a token there, but it’s not supposed to print. Hopefully this gets fixed soon in a maintenance release.
Thanks for the info!!! I hope they can fix it soon! ![]()
I’m curious: given that the Flow Title in the heading will always cause the Flow Title in the title to be hidden – why have the token there?
Because that way, the flow title also appears on the other pages and is automatically hidden on the first.
That’s how I had always worked, and it had always worked great for me.
I suggest leaving the project & flow titles in your Heading Template and removing it from the Project line of your Project Template.
OK, thanks for the idea, but I’m interested in keeping the logic of the previous projects. I don’t want to rebuild everything from scratch.
If you don’t like what you are seeing, you need to change something.
Since these are projects created with versions prior to Dorico 6, I can export them from Dorico 5. I mentioned it because I thought it might help improve the application.
Yes, that’s probably your best bet, until this gets fixed.
