I’ve just checked how this is displayed in WL6 and to me the font is larger and much clearer and so easier to read.
Both in WL7 and WL8 the source marker text is bunched up too much and is in a font that does not suit the reduced point size.
Any chance that this can be at least changed back to the clearer WL6 font style or as with colours this particular attribute of the marker text could become selectable in a future release (even with a restricted range of font styles and sizes to ensure no display problems)
