Anyone using the Focusrite Clarett 8Pre audio interface and/or OcoPre preamp with Cubase 9.5? Interested in your experiences as I’m considering upgrading from my older Saffire unit. Also, have not worked with having two hardware units like this – does Cubase handle having both of them well?
Hey zootsuiter, I have both the Safire Liquid 40, and added a 8 PreX about a year ago… The work fine together, Cubase is the problem, haha… Upgraded my computer and downgraded to 9.0.40… 9.5 is buggy and not well thought out.
Call Focusrite if needed and they will walk you through it. It can be a little buggy after restarting, but it works. I usually do my mixing with the 16 Outs into an X-Desk but it’s been a year since I had them linked.
