Not sure why this is so tedious to find, but I’ve been trying to figure out how to change the color of Folders in Cubase. For example, my guitar tracks are all red. I created a folder for all the guitar tracks. The folder is grey. How can I change it to red?
There are several ways to colorize tracks but if you want to change several tracks at once go to the Project menu…

Thanks but, the tracks and/or events are already (in this case) red. I want to color the Folder they are in to match
Shift+Left Click on the bottom left of the folder track header, next to the automation expansion button, and a color palette will pop up so you can choose the color.
Thanks! That’s it!
It is when you use the toolbar item, as demonstrated in my screenshots. ![]()
Is there a way to do this for a bunch of events in folder at once? Seems I can only do one at time which is ardous.
You can also alt-click on the track name in the inspector as well (top left), or the name in the left most pane (if it’s visible - the one with the track fader).
Thanks, finally worked. Doesn’t always seem consistent but might be (this) user issue too.
When parts or events are selected those will be colorized. If not then selected tracks will be colorized. If nothing is selected the color palette will be greyed out.
