Does anyone know how the new folder groups handle backward compatibility when opening a project in Cubase 12 Pro?

Cubase 15 | Cubase 13.
That means, Cubase 13 shows a folder, keep the Audio track within the folder. It also adds a Group Channel (with the Folder name), which puts into the folder on top.
The Audio Channel is still routed to the Group Channel (the Group named Folder 01 in my case). So the backwards compatibility is here.
If I save the project in Cubase 13 and reopen in Cubase 15, it looks the same as the original project in Cubase 15.
