'Follow input literally' does not follow input literally (figured bass)

Dorico 6 Pro. I have set the ‘follow input literally’ figured bass note input option. However, writing ‘75’ in the figured bass popover results in this:

…while of course writing ‘7n 5n’ will result in naturals. I just want ‘7 5’. I could’ve sworn I’ve used the ‘follow input literally’ options literally hundreds of times for this purpose (and I have it turned on in general since I need to follow an old score). What do you think I’m doing wrong now? Thanks in advance!

You also need to set the options for dealing with diminished intervals.

Ouch. I thought that was only for inferences of implied intervals, which I took to be irrelevant for the cases where I do indeed input everything literally (and don’t want Dorico to infer anything ‘implied’, let the continuo player do that!). But thank you, that’s it, I hope I remember this for the future
