My intention is to create a new flow, but I don’t seem to succeed at that. This is the first time I have created anything but one movement in Dorico. I have tried to get this knowledge from the written sources, sometimes successfully, sometimes not.
When I added several flows the first time, I got empty bars on all the new ones, just as I would expect.
That hasn’t happened since the first time.

Not quite. Didn’t work. I copied bar 90 from the Prelude. What I got in the flow wasn’t a single measure, it was a measure preceded by an 89-measure rest. How can I get rid of that?
Got it got it: Shift-B, delete, all that. It worked.
